Teen Mom 2 just dropped the trailer for the new season and it is going to be filled with chaos. Last season wasn’t disappointing but this time around the ladies are out to top what they have done in seasons prior.
Some of the biggest Teen Mom 2 drama that viewers can expect this season will center around Jenelle Evans and David Eason, even though he’s not even filming the MTV show anymore.
A couple of months ago, Jenelle made headlines when she called 9-1-1 on her husband, David. She alleged that he assaulted her and the call was made public. Now, it is all going to play out on the new season of Teen Mom 2.
When does Teen Mom 2 air?
The brand new season of Teen Mom 2 is set to begin airing on January 14, 2019. All of the girls are back for another round of filming and some of them are bringing new boyfriends along for the ride.
Leah Messer
Living her best life is what Leah Messer is focused on now. She has a new boyfriend, Jason Jordan, who will appear on Teen Mom 2 alongside her. Right now, it is unclear how much he is going to be filmed and the couple took a short break from one another but have since reconciled.
Kailyn Lowry
Her relationships with her family will be tested. The Teen Mom 2 trailer showed Kailyn Lowry writing her mother off, stemming from a decade of a strained relationship. Her sister announces she is pregnant, which has prompted some recent clickbait articles that fans have called out Lowry for posting.

Briana DeJesus
After getting into a physical altercation with Kailyn Lowry at the Teen Mom 2 reunion last season, it was unclear if she would ever return.
Briana DeJesus is back and dating someone new. Her relationship with Javi Marroquin was front and center last season and now that Javi has moved on, there will be another guy for her to flaunt.
Chelsea Houska
Welcoming another child is what Chelsea Houska will be doing. She had her daughter earlier this year, on her birthday.
That footage made the Teen Mom 2 trailer, but so did the drama she is experiencing with Adam Lind. It looks like he still isn’t stepping up for Aubree, something that was made clear during a scene in the trailer.
Jenelle Evans
Besides the 9-1-1 call, a lot has happened to Jenelle Evans since she last filmed Teen Mom 2. David Eason is no longer able to film with MTV, so much of what she does isn’t allowed on camera.
Evans reconciled with her mom Barbara, leading to speculation that she did it to remain on the show without causing too many waves.
Teen Mom 2 will begin airing on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 9/8c on MTV.
