Based on The Challenge spoilers for Season 37, a major blindside arrives in one of the episodes, which has explosive effects on many cast members.

The latest details arrive after filming has wrapped up in Croatia, but hint at what could be on the way in episodes once they arrive on MTV.

Spoilers will follow in this report, with names of cast members and details of eliminated or disqualified competitors.

The Challenge rookie, teammate shook up Season 37

The Challenge Season 37 is tentatively called Spies, Lies, and Allies. Based on spoiler reports, some players were doing their best to make power moves. Others were doing all they could to forge strong alliances and avoid eliminations.

A recent tweet from Challenge insider and superfan @GamerVev indicated that the team of rookie Olaoluwa “Esther” Agunbiade (Big Brother Naija) and veteran competitor Fessy Shafaat made one big move that ended up causing some major drama.

According to the tweet (below), Fessy and Esther “blindsided” Double Agents winner Amber Borzotra, sending her in against the team of Michele Fitzgerald (Survivor) and Corey Lay (12 Dates of Christmas). It’s not the first time a blindside move has happened on The Challenge and won’t be the last.

However, it still caused a big argument between them. As viewers saw on Double Agents, Josh Martinez might intervene if a fellow Big Brother star is in an argument. In this case, it appears he once again got involved on behalf of another BB star.

Viewers saw that happen in Season 36 when Chris “CT” Tamburello and Big Brother star Kaycee Clark had an argument in the kitchen over frozen pizzas. It led to a shouting match between Josh and CT and Devin Walker doing some instigating. Josh ended up having to go outside with security and staff trying to calm down.

Part of the upcoming season’s format is similar to the Double Agents elimination voting, where the daily challenge’s winning team gets to send in a team. The other team or competitor is voted in by the house. It doesn’t appear it’s done secretly, but it could be.

If the house vote is public, that could mean the blindside happened at deliberation. It could’ve also happened at the elimination site when the winning team announced who they were sending in.

In another part of the tweet, it’s mentioned that rookie Berna Canbeldek made a wise move with the teammate twist. After winning her elimination against fellow rookie Tacha Akide (Big Brother Naija), she opted to keep Double Agents winner Chris “CT” Tamburello as her teammate.

Blindside move led to cast member’s DQ?

The above tweet also references how the blindside move ultimately led to Josh Martinez and castmate Fessy Shafaat’s incident. Previous spoiler reports indicated that Fessy was kicked off the show after an “altercation” with his former Big Brother ally.

It’s unknown what exactly Fessy did to get kicked off, but it may have been physical in nature. As fans know, that’s not really tolerated on The Challenge, although Josh seemed to be OK after shoving Devin Walker on Double Agents.

That was one of two incidents Josh was rumored to be part of. Ashley “Millionaire” Mitchell was disqualified from the show during filming for an argument with Josh, leading to many outraged fans online.

Meanwhile, the two Big Brother stars will be participants in a celebrity boxing event which will take place sometime soon. Also part of the event will be their Season 37 castmate Kaycee Clark and Challenge alum, Jozea Flores.

The Challenge Season 37 premiere date is TBA for 2021 on MTV.
