Big Brother 16 winner Derrick Levasseur took the time to write a note to fans of the show and the BB23 houseguests today. It’s premiere day for the new season of Big Brother and it appears that he is ready to cheer on the new cast with the rest of us.
Big Brother 23, Episode 1 airs for the first time on Wednesday, July 7 on CBS. The producers have brought in 16 brand new people to play the game and it will give viewers a whole new group of people to watch play the game.
Derrick, who beat out Cody Calafiore to become the BB16 winner, keeps up with the show and the houseguests that have come after him. He posted a number of times on social media during the Big Brother 22 season last summer and even addressed how the season was going during some live streams.
Now, Derrick is back to welcome in the new season of the show. It will be very interesting to hear how he thinks that the BB23 cast is playing the game and if any of them contacted him for tips on how to play the game before they went inside of the Big Brother house.

“Happy BB premiere day from ‘Undercover Derrick’ to you,” Derrick posted on his Facebook page.
“Still love this game as much as I did back when I got the opportunity to play and I can’t wait to see who comes out on top this year. Good luck to all the houseguests,” Derrick wrapped up his message.

The full Big Brother 23 cast is ready to play the game, despite a last-minute change. Someone had to be removed from the cast due to a positive COVID test and that led to a lot of drama as fans tried to figure out what was going on.
Luckily, the producers had some alternates sequestered with the rest of the BB23 cast, so it was easy to put replacements on the show. As previously noted, one of the guys was also replaced earlier in the quarantine process.
Having an entirely new cast is a good thing for the longevity of the reality competition show and it will present 16 new people to the fans. We will get to know them all even better when the Big Brother live feeds get turned on.
It will be very interesting to see who former houseguests end up rooting for this season and if they cheer on the same people that the fans fall in love with.

CBS also just released a new video where we get to hear the new houseguests speaking, which added a new layer of information for fans to digest before the July 7 season premiere.
