Roy Orbison Jr. will return to Below Deck Mediterranean as a charter guest with his family and viewers are already buzzing about his comeback.

The talented singer made quite the impression on Captain Sandy Yawn and the Season 5 crew last year. The crew adored Roy, his wife Asa Hallgren, and their two kids. Ulf Ekberg from Ace of Base joined the group, making the charter a very famous one.

So, as Roy and his family prepare to board the Lady Michelle, let’s have a little refresher on the primary guest.

Who is Roy Orbison Jr?

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Roy is the son of the late great music legend, Roy Orbison. Like his father, Roy has music in his blood. He’s a musician and record producer who works to make his own name while keeping his famous dads’ legacy alive.

Roy married Asa in 2017 after years of dating. Their wedding was officiated by Roy’s best friend John Carter Cash, the son of June Carter Cash and Johnny Cash. The royal country couple is also Roy’s godparents.

Asa and Roy have two children, Roy Orbison III, age 5, and Bo Orbison, age 3. The family enjoys traveling together and exploring the world. Roy III and Bo have become expert travelers despite their young age.

When not traveling or with his family, Roy runs his record label Roy’s Boys with his two brothers Wesley and Alexander. Roy is also president of Still Working Music, which was initially founded by his late mother, Barbara Orbison.

What did Roy say about his Below Deck Mediterranean experience?

After the Orbison family’s Below Deck Med charter hit the airwaves, Roy shared a behind-the-scenes video of his time on The Wellington yacht.

Roy shared with The Daily Dish that his family was huge fans of the Bravo show before appearing on the yachting franchise. He gushed over the Season 5 crew, even admitting his group was sad when the charter was over.

The singer loved the experience so much he’s back again. Thanks to the Season 6 trailer, it looks like Roy’s bringing a whole new side of him to the show. Although the crew initially thinks it’s a super easy family charter, the vibe quickly changes because of Roy and alcohol.

Roy Orbison Jr. is back on Below Deck Mediterranean. Those who watched him on Season 5 of the Bravo show know he will be oh so entertaining.
