Below Deck Mediterranean alums Alex Radcliffe and Anastasia Surmava have launched a new podcast, Altered Reality.
The Season 5 deckhand and Season 4 stew/chef became friends after being paired on Below Deck Galley Talk. Those who follow Anastasia and Alex on social media know the two of them are the best pals.
They have a brother and sister relationship with brutal honesty that makes their podcast so entertaining.

Anastasia and Alex launched the Altered Reality podcast where no topic is off-limits. It’s not a Below Deck podcast either. These two are dishing the good, the bad, and the ugly that life brings daily.
No, Altered Reality isn’t a typical podcast that focuses on guests or reality TV either. They share a lot of personal feelings and insight into their lives.
Alex used Instagram to announce the exciting news while shining a light on mental health. The Boston native has been openly sharing his struggles with anxiety, which is one reason he decided to do the podcast.
“So pumped to announce that @nastiasurmava and I finally started a podcast together “altered reality” which discusses the daily shit we go through, the truth behind reality tv, mental health, one night stands, embarrassing drunk stories. You name it we say it all, But I’m excited for anyone who listens to get a real feel of what the reality is of life.” Alex captioned the Instagram post.
The Bravo personality let his followers know the podcast can be found on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube.
What can listeners expect from Altered Reality?
So far, there are three episodes of Anastasia and Alex’s Altered Reality.
The first episode is the two of them getting real about life struggles. Their honesty with fans and each other was so refreshing that it will instantly get you hooked on the podcast.
Alex spilled in Episode 1 they would have reality TV stars as guests to discuss various shows, especially those in the Bravo family. Heather Gay from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was the first guest in Episode 2 of Altered Reality.
For those who didn’t know, Alex and Heather have been flirting with each other and doing Instagram Lives for months.
Alli Dore from Below Deck Sailing Yacht was on the third episode of Alex and Anastasia’s Altered Reality. Alex wasn’t joking when he said Altered Reality was getting some killer guests.
