Miss Monster appeared on The Masked Singer as one of the new contestants for Season 3. The premiere was an exciting episode, with FOX capitalizing on the Super Bowl audience by airing it immediately afterwards.
The show will now slide into a Wednesday night time slot, with viewers able to watch Episode 2 on February 5.
Back on Season 1 of The Masked Singer, one of the celebrities appeared as Monster. During the season finale, Monster beat out Peacock (Donny Osmond) and Bee (Gladys Knight) to win the show.
When Monster was unmasked, it turned out that he was rapper T-Pain. This was noteworthy because when Miss Monster took the stage on Sunday night, she was accompanied by Monster.
Miss Monster performs on The Masked Singer
Miss Monster was the fourth contestant to take the stage on Sunday night, after White Tiger, Turtle, and Llama, with Robot and Kangaroo following her to the stage.
The song choice for Miss Monster was Something to Talk About by Bonnie Raitt. Part of that performance can be seen below:

During the clue package, she stated that she was shy and most of the clips were shown in a high school hallway. She talked about how the performances by Monster in Season 1 were “fire” and how nervous she was to take the stage.
Who is Miss Monster on The Masked Singer?
For the season premiere, the panel of judges (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger) was joined by singer and actor, Jamie Foxx. Each one of them weighed in with their guesses on the identity of Miss Monster.
Ken guessed she was Dolly Parton. Jenny said she was younger and went with Mary J. Blige. Nicole guessed Dionne Warwick. Jamie agreed with Nicole, stating that there was a queen under the mask. As for Robin, he just laughed along with everyone’s predictions.

To summarize, the judge’s panel has guessed that Miss Monster is either Dolly Parton, Mary J. Blige, or Dionne Warwick. Since Miss Monster survived the elimination of the night, we will have to wait to find out who she is.
Miss Monster will return to perform on the February 5 episode, going up against the other four contestants who survived the season premiere. Make sure to tune in to the regular time slot for the show this winter.
Can Miss Monster join Monster and Fox (who won Season 2) on the winner’s podium? We will all find out together.
The Masked Singer airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on FOX.
