This gold-wearing Persian has remained true to his over-the-top trademark, infusing his products with gold.
Be Obsessed Luxury Line
This unisex line was created with all hair lengths, colors, and textures in mind. Plus, gold is not the only high-quality ingredient contained in the products.
Champagne, king coconut oil, black truffle oil, and crushed diamonds, among other ingredients, are used to minimize frizz while adding moisture and fullness.
There are currently eight products available: Reza Fixation Shampoo and Conditioner, Black Diamond Oil, Love My Leave-In, Seaspray Vacation in a Bottle, King of Wax, Gel-Out Stuck on You, and Reza Ultimate Hairspray.
The inspiration for Be Obsessed
Interestingly, Be Obsessed was inspired by Reza’s dog. The story is that while at the dog park, Reza’s dog attacked another dog. When he went over to the dog’s owner to apologize, she complimented him on his hair.
As they further conversed, he learned that the lady was in the haircare business, and not too long afterward, they began to collaborate.
Reza further explained that this venture was “Born out of a desire to offer the very best in hair care to everyone.”
“Reza Be Obsessed is truly a labor of love. I’ve spent the better part of my life buying and trying tens of thousands of dollars of haircare and styling products, to manage my unruly hair. With a combination of issues from dry, coarse and unmanageable hair, I’ve accumulated an arsenal of products. I understand that not every consumer has that luxury, so making an affordable line, with the best ingredients and technology became my obsession.”
The line is indeed affordable despite the fancy ingredients; the products are actually reasonably priced, from $20 to $33.
On the latest episode of Shahs of Sunset, we witnessed a successful brand launch at Sally Beauty in Las Vegas. The products are now available from the massive beauty retailer.
