Jinger Duggar may be on the West Coast, but her sisters in Arkansas are close to her heart. She shared a photo of her and her four other adult sisters taken when she was back home recently.
These sisters were the older bunch and grew incredibly close as they navigated life together.
Four were married off pretty quickly in succession, with Jana Duggar being the lone adult Duggar daughter who remains unmarried.
Sisterly bond
In the Instagram post, Jinger Duggar posted about being thankful for sweet times together. She is the first Duggar daughter to fly away from the nest.
As soon as Jinger married Jeremy Vuolo, she moved to Texas and began a new life.
Since then, she has moved to California with Jeremy Vuolo. Jinger Duggar has been on the West Coast for less than a year now. They moved over the summer, shortly after Grandma Mary Duggar passed away.
Jana Duggar went to California to visit Jinger Duggar not long after she moved. Some of the other Duggar family members also came out to see her as well.
Just after Christmas, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald brought Ivy Jane out there to meet her cousin for a brief visit.
The fact that Jill Duggar was also included in the photo was nice. There have been rumors of her being on the outs with her family because of Derick Dillard.
That didn’t seem to affect her presence with her sisters, which is something that Counting On fans was happy about.
Why did Jinger return to Arkansas?
Returning to Arkansas for a quick visit has brought up some questions. Jinger Duggar came with her daughter Felicity while Jeremy Vuolo remained back in California.
She spent time with her family, which included a sisters’ shopping day.
There is some speculation that Jinger Duggar may have made a pregnancy announcement to her family, though that has not been confirmed. Counting On is reportedly filming the new season, and that would be perfect timing for something like that.
As Counting On viewers wait for the new season to return, there has been a lull in Duggar announcements. Courting hasn’t happened in quite some time and the final baby from the 2019 baby boom was born earlier this year.
If Jinger Duggar didn’t make an announcement, it could be a while before another Duggar grandbaby is born.
