Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has a lot to be thankful for as he heads towards Christmas and the New Year.
He’s maintained his sobriety, has been married to his wife, Lauren, for two years now, and she is currently expecting a child next year.
With all that, there doesn’t seem to be too much Sitch would want for Christmas this year, but he recently revealed something very important he’d like.
The Situation reveals what tops his wishlist, the best gifts he ever got
In an exclusive email to Page Six, Mike Sorrentino said what he wants most for the holidays is “a healthy baby boy who is due in May 2021.”
He also’s grateful for his sobriety and his wife, Lauren, as Mike named those as the two best things he’s ever received as gifts.
The couple revealed their pregnancy news last month. Following Lauren’s 2019 miscarriage and with the current pandemic, she said they are also “being very cautious and responsible while keeping the holiday spirit alive.”
As part of that, Mike also mentioned that family members would be tested ahead of coming to any of their smaller holiday gatherings.
Over the past weeks, Mike and Lauren shared several Instagram posts with friends and fans about expecting a baby next year.
“Baby Sitch 2021,” Mike wrote in a caption on one photo of him and Lauren standing together, all smiles. Mike also tagged their verified @itsbabysituation Instagram page on his post, which shows off even more of Lauren’s pregnancy progress.

Lauren commented about being excited for their expected addition to the family, and also Mike’s big upcoming anniversary.
“He is our biggest blessing and we can’t wait to meet him in the new year
Also Mike’s sober date is Christmas eve – 5 years this year! Health is wealth and sobriety is the gift that keeps on giving,” Lauren said in her email to Page Six.
In addition to Mike and Lauren expecting a child, so is Jersey Shore Family Vacation castmate Deena Cortese. She recently shared a photo series on IG about her progress with the second pregnancy. That post included a reveal of baby number two’s name.
What would Mike give as gifts to Jersey Shore castmates?
As viewers have witnessed, the fourth season of MTV’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation started with some fun for the castmates in Las Vegas before the drama was dialed up. That involved the guys making Deena cry when they revealed they had “double-booked” and her nemesis Angelina Pivarnick was on her way there.
The two ladies are involved in a feud carrying over from that famous wedding speech. That makes Mike’s answer about what he’d give his castmates as gifts for Christmas somewhat fitting.
“I would give the gift of a good therapist,” Sitch said, jokingly. “Not all but some of these guys could benefit from some critical thinking skills … And of course, the gift of health & prosperity into the new year. Health is the new wealth!”
It’s unknown if Mike Sorrentino hooked any of his castmates up with that, but as wife Lauren mentioned, they both love this time of year, as many do.
Lauren told Page Six, “it is my absolute favorite and Mike’s too because he gets to eat all the amazing cookies.”
