David Eason is no stranger to controversy.
He does what he wants, and he doesn’t care what people or Teen Mom 2 viewers think about him.
He got fired from MTV after tweeting controversial things about the LGBTQ community, and he shot and killed the family dog because it nipped at his daughter Ensley.
Jenelle Evans defended his actions, but later separated from him to start over.
Now, as a single man, David just shared an interesting video on social media — one that has people talking.
David Eason makes an interesting statement about dogs
Over the weekend, David shared a video on Instagram of his daughter Ensley with her arms around a dog.
The caption reads, “Dogs are meant to be loved on, kissed in the face and tolerant of children’s behavior. Junior is such a gentle, loving boy like all dogs should be!”

It’s interesting that he writes that dogs are meant to be loved when he shot and killed Jenelle’s dog Nugget last spring.
At the time, he argued that he had to put down the dog as it was a danger to his daughter. However, in a leaked video showing the incident, the dog is trying to communicate that Ensley is too close.
David Eason previously admitted to killing Nugget
The shooting death of Nugget triggered a series of events, including a 911 call and the children being removed from the home for over two months.
CPS also got involved to see if the children were in danger while living with David. The local police later said that the whole thing was done as a publicity stunt.
The dog has never been found, causing many viewers to call on justice for Nugget.
In September 2019, David admitted that he had indeed killed Nugget. He made the admission during a tear-filled interview, where he revealed that he felt he had no choice.

In addition to Ensley playing with a dog, Jenelle also purchased a new dog. She shared the news last week, asking fans to welcome Rosey into her family.
At the time, she revealed she got the dog to make the transition for the children easier and more comforting.
However, she was seen purchasing a dog bed and food with David and his daughter Maryssa.
Teen Mom 2 is currently on hiatus.
