The night before the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 reunion aired on Bravo, Ashley did an Instagram Live. She answered fan questions and addressed being MIA from the reunion.
Ashley admitted the virtual chat was filmed as she endured backlash over her drunken hookup with Gary in a guest cabin. Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans felt she crossed a line causing her to endure a slew of hate online.
“I just felt like I didn’t want to have to deal with it during the reunion,” she shared. “I was really tired of having to talk about everything because we’ve had to do interviews in L.A. multiple times, and it really beats you down.”
The hot topic was something Ashley was not interested in addressing at the reunion. Since she knew she would not get to pick the questions asked to her, Ashley felt she wouldn’t have the opportunity to tell her side of the story.
Ashley also addressed breaking Gabriela’s confidence and telling Daisy Kelliher that Gabriela wanted to leave. The brunette beauty insisted she wasn’t trying to be sneaky or shady, just honest with the chief stew.
It wasn’t all tense, tough questions. Ashley also revealed she remains close friends with Kelsie Goglia and Barnaby Birkbeck.

Last Friday, as the weekend kicked off, Ashley shared a statement confirming she would not be at the Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion.
In her message, Ashley wrote she wasn’t interested in being “a puppet for bravo.” Ashley reiterated she felt that she would not be allowed to tell her story at the reunion.

I think what we all saw of her, and her actions said enough about her as a person. She came off as being desperate to hookup and make her mark on Gary and backstabbing to Gabby all because she wanted to be 2nd Stew also tried to do the same thing to Scarlet when she came on board, then to make matter worse to publicly announce having Gary’s penis in her at the dinner table was really an all-time low
