Tiffany Franco broke the fourth wall — and seemingly TLC’s NDA — when she openly spoke out on social media on Tuesday night to accuse Ronald Smith of repeated emotional abuse.
The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? star said she’d had enough of staying in the shadows while others write her narrative.
In what can only be called an intense battle of the words, Tiffany wrote, “We are not allowed to share how we actually feel on social media, but I don’t care staying quiet is allowing it to quietly break you apart.”
Her posts claiming emotional abuse make it look like Ronald and Tiffany have now split up for a third time. The tense social media feud started on July 3 when Ronald posted a story and turned off his comments.
The father of one wrote, “And that’s true NO NONE ZERO words to say about today … #notsurprisedtho #nocomment.”

But on Tuesday July 6, Tiffany posted her own message, writing, “You think things are messy? They are about to get a whole lot messier.”
Immediately fans were wary of what drama was to come.
Things did indeed get messier as Tiffany shared screenshots of texts and emails allegedly from her South African husband that appeared to show he was only interested in seeing his children and that he was “done” with the Maryland native.
One email showed Ronald going in on the 90 Day Fiance star saying, “You can say I’m cheating. You are the one lying about the visa.”
The mother of two then shared another email claiming “more abuse.”
Tiffany breaks her silence
In her stories, Tiffany wrote, “emotional abuse leaves scars that you’ll never see. I’ve gone through enough for a whole life together, and I’ve had to stay quiet.”
In a comment on her post to a fan, she wrote, “But he’s emotionally abusive. You’re right he has given me no choice but to be tough, but this is not the life I wanna live. I want to be happy and be vulnerable with the person that I love … it’s too much.”
Not to be outdone, Ronald then posted asking his followers for names of lawyers in the United States so he could get legal advice. Earlier in the thread, Ronald told Tiffany she made him nauseous.
The recovering addict added, “You are worthless you are not worth being loved you are useless as a woman.”

Her post saying “we are not allowed to share how we actually feel on social media” means TLC is probably not thrilled with the idea that their own talent has potentially ruined a storyline, but it seems Tiffany felt the need to speak her truth even if it costs her her reality TV career.
For now, Tiffany and Ronald have simmered down and gone dark on Instagram. 90 Day Fiance fans will have to wait to see what the next part of the saga will reveal.
