Reality TV star Stephen Bear of The Challenge, Celebrity Big Brother, and Ex on the Beach fame was sighted out and about this weekend with his reported new 18-year-old girlfriend Tia McAlister — breaking quarantine rules just hours after being released on bail.
Bear was arrested as he arrived back in the United Kingdom from Dubai last Friday after his ex Georgia Harrison claimed he filmed them having sex without her consent and then shared the footage online.
The 31-year-old was seen breaking quarantine rules as he went shopping with Tia, who turned 18 on January 5, this past weekend.
Bear released on bail, breaks COVID-19 quarantine rules
Bear was arrested at London’s Heathrow Airport on Friday, his birthday, after returning on a flight from the UAE. The arrest was due to allegations he disclosed sexual photographs or videos of Georgia Harrison without her consent, which he denies.
Local police released a statement on Friday about the arrest and allegations against Bear.
“A 31-year-old man from Loughton, who was arrested on suspicion of disclosing private sexual images or film without consent with intent to cause distress, voyeurism, harassment and obstructing a police officer, has been released on bail until 10 February,” the statement said.
The reality star then broke COVID-19 quarantine rules when he headed to a Marks & Spencer store with Tia following his release.
The United Kingdom’s current rules require anyone returning from the United Arab Emirates to self-isolate for at least 10 days.
Bear was photographed maskless, wearing a blue puffer jacket, and carrying several items from the store as he left Marks & Spencer and got into a black Mercedes with Tia.
Bear hung out with Tia after release
Stephen, who last month revealed he attempted suicide, had earlier been seen emerging from his Essex home with Tia hours after he was released on bail.
She is reported to be a beauty therapist and sources claim they have been dating “on and off” for over a year now.
The couple is said to have matching star tattoos since both are Capricorns. A source also claimed that Bear also has a tattoo of Tia’s face on his back.
“Tia met up with Bear the first opportunity she had after he was released from custody on Saturday and is standing by him amid the allegations,” the source said.
There are some discrepancies in what is being reported about Tia — after she posted an Instagram Story slide claiming some news outlets are spreading “fake news” about her age, location, and other details.
“These newspaper firms will be dealt with accordingly for spreading fake news,” part of her message reads.
Stephen Bear was last seen on MTV’s The Challenge: Total Madness, which was Season 35 of the longtime reality competition series. His ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison was not part of that season of the show but appeared on War of the Worlds and War of the Worlds 2 with him.
