Teresa Guidice has gotten her first tattoo. Is the new ink in honor of the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star’s late parents?

Teresa posted a photo to her Instagram story of a tattoo artist as she inked Teresa’s body on February 9. The artist is named Ashley Hsiung, otherwise known as “Panda.”

The tattoo consists of the Italian words “Siempre Insieme,” which means “always together.” Underneath that, it appears she also has a tattoo of a little bird.

Teresa’s parents, Antonia and Giacinto Gorga are both deceased. Teresa’s mom died in March 2017. Her father passed in April 2020.

All About the Truth reported that Teresa once said she would never get a tattoo.

On an older episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she once claimed, “Me, a tattoo? Nah! Would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley? I don’t think so.”

The 48-year-old appeared to change her mind and added the ink as a way to commemorate the love she continues to feel for her parents.

Teresa’s mother died four years ago.

Just one week before debuting her new ink, Teresa used the same expression as part of an Instagram caption that accompanied her late mother’s photo. Antonia died four years earlier from pneumonia.

In the caption of the image seen above, Teresa said, “I miss you so much, Mommy. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you.” Teresa followed up her statement with a white heart, prayer hand emoji, and the hashtags “mommy,” “love,” 333,” and “sempre insieme.”

In January, Teresa shared her parents’ image on the social media site with the caption “miss you both so much.”

Teresa spoke of losing her mother during the Season 8 opener of RHONJ in the Fall of 2017.

“My mother, she fought hard. But the pneumonia was too hard for her,” Teresa explained.

“My mom, she was just the most caring, loving mom ever. And she only cared about my brother, me, and my dad. She was an amazing woman. She was pretty amazing,” the reality star shared.

Teresa called her father her “hero”

As for her father, Giacinto, Teresa honored him in an Instagram post upon his passing.

“My father, my protector, my hero, God took you early this morning to be with mommy, I saw you peacefully pass & I know you kept fighting for my daughters and I,” she wrote.

“I have so many amazing thoughts of you, every day seeing you in the kitchen at my home, teaching my girls to cook, my partner in crime on shopping trips, your love of the shore & my travel buddy.

“You always wanted everyone to have a good time, eat great food, have a stiff drink, and enjoy life,” she wrote as reported by People Magazine.

Season 11 of RHONJ airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
