After losing her mother, Mackenzie has struggled to stay positive and move on.
She has expressed her thoughts on social media, admitting that she truly misses her mother all the time.

In a recent photo, Mackenzie reveals that the memories of her mother linger and how she truly wants her mom back in her life.
“Precious memories, how they linger, how they ever flood my soul, I want you back,” Mackenzie wrote on her Instagram post about her mom, sharing a lyrical note emoji to indicate that she was referring to a song.
The photo she posted appears to be from a painting event the two enjoyed together with friends.
Angie Douthit passed away on December 9, 2019, after battling cancer for just under two years. She was diagnosed with stage four cancer, which continued to spread throughout her body before she ultimately passed away.
Near the end, she was hospitalized, and doctors were unsure of how long she had left. When she was diagnosed, she wasn’t given a long time, but she ended up outliving what the doctors had predicted.

This isn’t the first time that Mackenzie has expressed frustration and sadness about the whole experience. In fact, she’s been publicly grieving her mom.
About a month ago, Mackenzie revealed she wanted to leave Twitter behind because she was still struggling with the death of her mom. Many fans reached out to her with similar stories.
She continues to focus on her husband, Josh McKee, her growing business, and her kids as she tries to navigate her new life without her mom.
Mackenzie will return as part of the Teen Mom OG family, and one can imagine that her mother’s death will be part of the upcoming season, which will premiere in about two weeks.
Last year, Angie filmed a special for the reunion, where she opened up about her struggles with the illness.
