After months of speculation about whether Lauren Comeau and Javi Marroquin had ended their engagement following Kailyn Lowry’s hook-up accusations, Teen Mom 2 fans finally have their answer.
In an emotional Instagram live, Lauren Comeau opened up about the whole ordeal.
Through tears, she talked about being a single mom and how she was stuck in Delaware after their breakup with no family or friends around.
She said, “I’m never gonna air dirty laundry on the internet. My mama raised me better than that. I do think I deserve to come on here and show some real f**king pain. I’m just here to pick up the pieces with my kid, stuck here with no family or friends.”
Lauren, who is originally from Maine, had lived in Delaware with Javi for the last couple of years.
Lauren found out Javi was cheating along with the rest of the world
During an episode of Teen Mom 2, Kail admitted that Javi tried to hook up with her at a WaWa parking lot. She made the allegation after she became frustrated that he wouldn’t drive to pick up their son Lincoln, even though he previously agreed to do so.
Following the episode, Kail publicly apologized to Lauren and admitted she shouldn’t have shared her business on national television.
During her Instagram live, Lauren said that she found out with the rest of the world when the episode aired.
She said, “The night I found out along with the whole world, [um] we were going to go put a deposit down on a house the very next day. Like, I’m thankful that I obviously found out but, this has been going on for three years.”
Lauren thinks there’s more to the story
In addition to sharing her pain, Lauren stated that she thinks there’s more to the story that Kail and Javi have not admitted to.
She said, “I think there’s a lot more that none of us know and only two people know. I think there’s a lot more truth to it.”
At one point during this season of Teen Mom 2, Lauren tried to talk to Kail about the incident. Kail did not allow the cameras and microphones to listen in on their conversation, but she said she told Lauren she would need to get the story from Javi and that it wasn’t her place to get involved.
Despite the pain she is in now, Lauren admitted that it was a good thing she found out.
She said, “I just have to look at this as a blessing.”
Several fans commented during the live and showed their support for Lauren and reminded her that she deserved better. They praised her for her strength and her continued resilience while doing her best to raise their two-year-old son Eli.
Javi has yet to comment on Lauren’s live. Time will tell whether there is in fact more to this story and whether or not Javi and Kail are willing to share more details of what really happened.
