It’s already over between Gizelle Bryant and Jamal Bryant after they tried to make the relationship work last season on The Real Housewives of Potomac. Fans were shocked when the former married couple got back together and decided to make another go at their relationship, but it was doomed from the very beginning.
Not only were they living hours away from each other but their own children were not in support of the rekindled romance. Furthermore, the couple was rocked with cheating rumors after castmate Monique Samuels brought text messages and other proof that Jamal was with another woman during his relationship with Gizelle.
But despite trying to make it work, Gizelle and Jamal have decided to end their relationship.
Gizelle Bryant and Jamal Bryant have called it quits
The Real Housewives of Potomac star had a recent chat with E! News and she dished about the demise of her relationship with her ex-husband, turned ex-boyfriend, Jamal Bryant.
The mom of three explained why, despite their efforts, they still couldn’t make the relationship work the second time around.
“Listen, we were a victim of the pandemic,” explained Gizelle during her interview. “I don’t think any long-distance relationship can really withstand not seeing each other. But is he still in my life, is he still one of my best friends? Absolutely.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac star also shared how her daughters felt after finding out that she and Jamal had parted ways again. Gizelle shares three girls with the controversial Pastor and they were not too happy when their parents rekindled their romance.
So as you can imagine, the girls weren’t necessarily in tears when they found out that their parents had split for the second time.
“They will always take my lead and they just want me to be happy, one way or another,” confessed the Bravo housewife. “To be honest with you, we were all in a pandemic and they really didn’t care because they were doing school virtually, their life was at that point in the dumps, in their mind,”
Gizelle continued, “We just had other things to think about. Their only concern is just my happiness. As long as mommy’s happy, they’re happy.”
However, the 50-year-old is not moping about despite being single again. As a matter of fact, she’s already dipping her feet right back into the dating pool and is ready to embrace hot girl summer, which she said has already started.
“Has it started? Oh my gosh, yes!” she told the media outlet.
She continued, “Gizelle’s out here, she’s dating, she’s doing her thing, she’s having fun. And you know, I really enjoy just being free, feeling free, and not having to think about compromising about anything.”
