Andrew Glennon has posted an emotional message on Instagram thanking fans for their “tremendous support” and the “unconditional love” they have shown him and his son James.
In the message — posted over a photo of a tropical paradise — he explained that he read all of the stories that people shared with him and that all of the well-wishes had not gone unnoticed.
While he didn’t mention Amber Portwood by name, his message comes after her July arrest where she was accused of attacking Andrew and James with a machete.
Earlier this month, Andrew shared another message where it sounded like he was apologizing for something he may have done.
It was presented as a quote and said that if he had ever wronged people in his life, he was “forever sorry” and that no door was ever closed. Again, it didn’t reference Amber, but it seems likely that it may have been directed at her.
From his latest message, it sounds like Andrew has had messages of support from people who have gone through similar situations to himself.
He didn’t mention how many messages he had received over the past couple of months, but Teen Mom OG fans appear to be split. While some support Amber and believe her story, others have chosen to back Andrew.
As Monsters & Critics previously reported, Amber has lost Twitter followers after her arrest. She herself has also used social media to speak out about her side of the story, and she spoke to Dr. Drew on the Teen Mom OG reunion.
Amber recently shared a post on Instagram, where she talked about removing herself from a situation. It was uncertain whether she meant removing herself from her relationship with Andrew, her role on Teen Mom OG, or something completely different.
Amber Portwood has taken part in filming for Teen Mom OG since her arrest but there is currently no word on whether Andrew has as well.
Teen Mom OG is currently on hiatus.
