90 Day Fiance: The Other Way alum Deavan Clegg has long moved on from her rocky relationship with Jihoon Lee. These days Deavan is living in the U.S with her new boyfriend Topher Park and her two kids, while Jihoon still lives in South Korea.
Deavan and the kids are enjoying their new life with Topher, who seems to have taken over the role of dad for both Drascilla and Taeyang. Deavan has gotten a lot of backlash from people who claim she’s keeping Jihoon from seeing his son, but her mom Elicia says this is not the case at all.
She recently shared that Jihoon has simply not shown up for Taeyang despite the door being open for him to do so.

Deavan’s mom Elicia went Instagram Live recently and shared some updates about her daughter. She also answered several fan questions during the lengthy video.
One person asked the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way cast member if Jihoon is even interested in his child, to which she responded “I don’t know, to me, it feels like…that was the past and he just wants to let it go. I’ve seen him do a few YouTube videos, he seems very happy with what he’s doing right now and I think he just doesn’t wanna deal with America. At this point in time, I’m sure he literally hates all things America right now.”
Elicia added, “Yeah. he’s obviously not interested, it breaks my heart. And I believe, I do believe that when he gets older and he reflects, he’ll probably try to reach out at that time. It’s sad it happens, women leave their children, men leave their children.”
Deavan’s mom says Jihoon Lee has disappeared
Elicia spent over an hour talking about Deavan and Jihoon.
One viewer wanted an update about the custody ruling regarding the estranged couple. Elicia revealed that Deavan got full physical custody of Taeyang and that Jihoon can see his son under certain conditions.
“Jihoon does have every right to see his son all he has to do is take an anger management class and to take a parenting class. But he hasn’t shown up, he hasn’t called, he hasn’t done anything, he has disappeared. You guys know he’s disappeared,” claimed Elicia.
She added, “He’s already moved on his life, you cannot force someone to be a parent…you cannot force people. Do you think that we want Taeyang to not see his father? That’s ridiculous and it’s sad because his father didn’t even, he doesn’t show up!”
