The Kanye West and Kim Kardashian drama continues, as Ye is calling out a report with a headline he feels was trying to “spin the narrative” about him as a father.
A TMZ report arrived in which Ye questioned what he could do about his daughter North West being put on TikTok against his will, and Kim K released a statement after his comments.
However, the hip-hop star blasted TMZ after seeing their headline, indicating they weren’t being a “fair media source” in terms of reporting on his spat with Kim Kardashian over daughter North West’s TikTok.
Ye blasts report about latest spat with Kim Kardashian
On Friday night, Kanye West shared a screenshot of a retweet featuring TMZ’s headline about him, Kim Kardashian, and their daughter North West.
“Kanye West Shades Kim Kardashian Over North West on TikTok” was the original headline, although a Twitter user retweeted it with a correction.
“Corrected: Kanye West wants a say on how his children are raised,” an account called Correcting Ye Headlines put in their retweet.
West shared the screenshot and then added his reaction in the Instagram caption.
“TMZ MY CHILDREN ARE NOT A GAME TO ME I NEED AN APOLOGY FOR HOW YOU TRIED TO SPIN THE NARRATIVE YOU ARE NOT BEING A FAIR MEDIA SOURCE YOU’RE PICKING SIDES AGAINST THE DAD,” Kanye wrote.
West called out daughter being on TikTok and Kim K’s response
TMZ’s report arrived after Kanye West posed a question about daughter North West, whom he shares with Kim Kardashian, being on TikTok at the age of eight.
“SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?” Ye asked in an Instagram post with a screenshot of North West on TikTok.
Following Kanye’s comments, Kim Kardashian released a lengthy statement about North West using TikTok because it allows “her to express her creativity in a medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness.”
Kim went on to say she wanted a “healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship” since that’s what’s best for their children, but Kanye has “made it impossible every step of the way.”
Ye fired back by sharing a screenshot of the reel and asked what Kim meant by “main provider.” He also accused Kim of trying to “kidnap” his daughter on her birthday and making him “take a drug test after Chicago’s party,” among other things.
West and Kim’s drama arrives after the couple was married from 2014 until last year when Kim filed for divorce after struggles with their marriage. Months after filing for divorce, Kim began dating Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson. Kanye is currently in a relationship with actress Julia Fox.
Still, the couple shares four children. In addition to North West, there’s Chicago, Psalm, and Saint West. Based on Kanye’s comments, he wants a bit more say and involvement in their lives than he’s currently getting, although Kim feels his public rants and antics are hurting things.
It is sad that these poor children are forced to see their parents dissing each other publicly. The bottom line that both Kim and Kanye seem to have totally overlooked is that neither of them look good doing this. And it only hurts the children.
Kim, you are talking bad about your children’s father and blasting it to the whole world. Kanye, you are talking bad about your children’s mother to the whole world. Both of you need to grow up and start considering what you are doing to the children by publicly talking bad about their other parent. Not that either of you will ever pull your head out long enough to actually read or consider this.
