Julia Fox has cleared the air about herself and Drake.
The actress appeared on Niki Takesh’s Forbidden Fruits podcast on Friday.
There, she explained her relationship with Drake: “He’s a great guy and a gentleman and that was it. Nothing really happened. We were just like, friends hanging out… Yeah, like I wouldn’t say that we were dating… That was fully 2020, like, two years ago.”
Page Six had previously reported that Drake and Fox were in a relationship.
The publication reported that Drake slid into her Instagram DMs in 2019.
According to the report, Drake attended Fox’s gig at Bloomingdale’s in March. It was there that the rapper bought Fox two Birkin bags.
However, as Page Six reported, their romance was slowed due to the pandemic keeping them apart.

Fox and Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, have been making headlines recently.
Fox met Ye at a surprise New Year’s Eve performance in Miami at the end of 2021.
Just days later, TMZ published photos of the pair having dinner together in Miami.
On January 6, Fox confirmed that she and Ye were together. She wrote a brief article for Interview magazine, detailing their date night: “After dinner… Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment… I don’t know where things are headed, but if this is any indication of the future, I’m loving the ride.”
About a week later, Fox spoke about her relationship with Ye on the Forbidden Fruits podcast: “I don’t have any expectations, there are no labels. It’s just people that make each other feel better. It’s such a Gemini-Aquarius connection. Our minds work very fast, we keep up with each other.”

On February 2, Fox and Ye made tabloid headlines once again, after a lavish night out in celebration of Fox’s birthday.
Ye reportedly took Fox and her friends to Lucien, a French bistro in New York City.
Ye gifted Fox jewelry and a baby Birkin, the latter of which can cost anywhere from $25,000 to $200,000. But, his generosity didn’t end there.
Ye also gave baby Birkins to each of Fox’s five friends at her birthday celebration.
Some questioned whether the gesture was meant to outshine Drake’s previous gifting of Birkins.
