It’s likely that many celebrities like to stay anonymous while browsing social media, and Gigi Hadid admits she’s one of them.
She recently confessed to being a “lurker” when using the popular TikTok platform so that she can check out certain content on there.
Gigi Hadid reveals she has secret TikTok
During a photo shoot and interview for the March 2022 InStyle cover, 25-year-old model Gigi Hadid talked about her secret TikTok account.
“I do have a secret TikTok, which I don’t post on, and I don’t follow anyone I know on it,” she said, adding, “I’m a lurker, but it’s for, like, mom videos and kids’ lunch videos.”
Her topics of interest on the secret TikTok also include clips that involve true crime or storytelling about “murder, stalkers, that kind of stuff.”
Hadid also said she prefers to look at restoration videos featuring pool cleaners and services that clean up hoarders’ homes for reselling.
“There are these pool cleaners who go to these moldy pools and spray them down until they’re glitzy glam and restore them,” Hadid explained in the interview.
“There’s also a guy where his job is to go into people’s homes who were hoarders, and he cleans the entire house and it is gnarly, like, rotting refrigerators. He goes in a hazmat suit, and he repairs it for resell,” she told InStyle.
Gigi has a verified TikTok account with about 741,000 followers as of this report. However, she has no videos posted on the page and isn’t following anyone there either.
She’s more active on Instagram, where she has over 72 million followers and 3,200 posts, as of this report. In addition, Hadid has over 10 million followers on Twitter and posts on the microblogging platform regularly.
Hadid gushed over her ‘smart’ daughter
During her interview with InStyle, Hadid also talked about how smart her one-year-old daughter is right now based on her constantly observing things and “learning.”
“She’s so aware. She watches everything, she’s always learning, she’s always looking,” Hadid told InStyle. “She’s just awesome. I still can’t believe it. It’s wild.”
She went on to say she has friends with children at the same young age, and they’re also awed by their kids all the time.
“A lot of my mom friends feel like that, and we’re nearing the first couple years [with our kids]. You’re obsessed with them, but sometimes you turn and you’re like, ‘Oh my God. Where did you come from?'”
Hadid currently shares her daughter Kahi, born in September 2020, with singer Zayn Malik. Hadid and Malik had an on-and-off relationship beginning in 2015, which ended last September, per People.
While Hadid seems to only lurk TikTok for now, one must wonder if she’ll begin to get in on the craze of posting fun mother and daughter clips as her daughter gets older and learns about the app.
