Amanda Bynes is expecting her first baby with fiance Paul Michael. The announcement was made in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts by the pair.
It follows a whirlwind of a few weeks for the couple, who announced their engagement on February 20, only to announce last week then that they’d broken up.
Bynes’ fiance, 28-year-old Paul Michael, first announced the pregnancy. He posted an ultrasound image with Bynes’ name on it, side by side with a picture of himself and Amanda.
“Baby in the making,” he wrote.
Bynes, 33, then shared the image with the caption, “baby on board!”
Both accounts subsequently deleted all photos. The posts first appeared on Tuesday, March 17.
Confusion over the status of Amanda Bynes relationship
There had been some confusion as to whether the She’s The Man actress was still in a relationship with Paul Michael after a breakup was declared on March 8.
Bynes almost immediately deleted all the photos of herself with Michael from her Instagram account.
However, love can be complicated, and Bynes confused everybody a day later by posting a picture of herself and Michael with the caption “my love.”

Page Six reported that Michael informed them that the pair had remained together, and their Instagram accounts were hacked by someone who deleted the photos.
A source told US Weekly that the pair had briefly gone their separate ways but then quickly resumed their love affair in a matter of hours.
The source allegedly said, “Amanda is just barely pregnant, and she is very happy.”
The former Nickelodeon star was allegedly spotted at a women’s health clinic with a female friend.
US Weekly’s source said, “She seemed excited and was dressed casual and keeping a low profile. The lobby was pretty empty, so no one bugged her.”
Paul Michael was not present at the time.
Bynes and Michael met at a sober living facility
The pair reportedly met two months ago while they were staying in the same sober living facility. Michael produced an engagement ring on St. Valentine’s day.
On February 20, Bynes posted a video to Instagram where she introduced her fiance; she wrote:
“Hey, everyone, this is Paul, my fiancé. I’m so lucky. As you can see, he’s drop-dead gorgeous. He’s also the best person on the face of the Earth.”
There could be complications to any marriage plans.
Bynes is under conservatorship and cannot legally marry unless the judge and her conservator, her mother, agree to the idea. It’s believed that Bynes’ parents have yet to meet Michael.
