You have no idea just how excited I am for this movie to come out! I absolutley can not wait! I've read all the books including the first chapter of Midnight Sun..which was omg great! I'm dying to know when this movie is coming out! Edward's character has to be perfect! He must be drop dead gorgeous. I just hope the keep the same story line because I'd hate for them to make a big change in the movie that would totally ruin it for everyone.
yea! im excited, like everyone else of course. but i also hope that they don't change the story line too much, sometimes they do that when making books into movies and it sort of takes away from the characters.
But anyway!!! about Edward! for some reason none of the sites that i have been on yet have said that they cast Robert Pattinson as Edward, you might know him from playing Cedric Diggory from the Harry Potter movie. it was posted Dec. 11th on stephenies official website (www.stepheniemeyer.com check it out!! now!!) im not sure why the websites about the movie dont have that info yet...

Robert Pattinson is hot. ok, he will never be able to reach edward the way he is like in my imaginations but it'll work for the movie. i haven't decided about Stewart yet. But i hope she will change her hair color to brown and not stay with the red.

ok, i was a little disappointed when i first heard about robert pattinson playing Edward, but i just looked up some pix of him and he's pretty hot (not as Cedric Diggory though) and i am perfectly ok if he plays Edward.

This is the most horrible cast I've seen. They're supposed to be very attractive, according to the book, and this cast... not pretty at all. I'm extremely disappointed. I don't really want to see the movie anymore. Thanks for runing something good.
I'm pretty stoked about this. I think that with a bit of grooming and perhaps a nice eyebrow pluck Robbert would be a great Edward. I also felt the way some of you do about Kristen playing Bella but you need to understand that Bella is really an akward person and kristen is akward on screen so it will work out well. Today i just realized that Kristen has a line in 'zathura' where she says 'we should have never rented 'Thirteen'' and The actress who plays Rosalie played Evie and co-wrote 'Thirteen'.

ok so edward is definetely hot!!! we all knew that. roberet wasnt my first choice but he grew on me and now i think he is really good for the roll. gregory boyce is tyler and i need to find a pic of him so i can judge. the rest of the cast is pretty good. jasper does not look like what i thought he would but oh well as long as they dont ruin the book its all good. i love this series soo much!!! edward is mine forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I L-O-V-E Twilight!!!I cried when I heard breaking dawn is the last book in the series and I can't wait for it to be reliesed! I wanna see how twilight movie comes out...Even though I doubt it will be even s increadible as the book!!! I mean the book is AMAZING!!! and they can't make the cullens look nearly as beautiful as in the book...I mean, their vampires not humans!!!and how can they fit the whole bokks in 2 hours... if they take even one little part of the book it will be different because every little part of the book is wanderful, it's part of the story...

I think Bella and Edward are a good couple and Edward(Robert Patterson Defintley meets the describtion from the book and I hope they dont cut to much but the movie is defintley is going to be really good because the book was really goood!!!
i think all the cast members are perfect for their roles. the director and Ms. Meyer are happy and they sure know what their doing. this movie will be awesome as long as the best parts of the book aren't taken out.

It's really unfair to base your judgments on the cast on your own imaginations of how YOU wanted the characters to look. Big deal if they don't look how you want them to. If Stephenie is happy with the choices made in the casting, then you should be too. After all, they are HER creations.
Get over yourselves, really. Even if the film does end up sucking, the books are still incredible and that's all that really matters.
ok, i have to say i agree with the people that were a bit disappointed about Robert playing Edward, but i say we hold out on totally ripping on the cast and movie until we see what he actually looks like in it.
you have to remember that there are a lot of things the movie people can do to make someone look more attractive, paler, or muscular. let's see how they work their cinematic magic on Robert!

But after looking at some pics from the set, he looks hot and the rest of the cast has grown on me. I really hope they do a good, so I'm not gonna bomb the movie before it comes out. I fell in love with the books and totally loose myself within its pages! I wish I could say that I'm excited about the movie but not as much since i've seen the cast. I guess some ideas or perspectives are better left to the imagination! I know robert is kinda cute(im a huge harry potter fan), but my eyes have to be closed. Well the movie is supposed to release on December 12, 2008. It says so on Stephanie Meyer's website and it’s on the list of movies releasing in 2008. Most of the cast is not pretty. When I say pretty, I mean god-like beautiful. I mean look at the girl cast as Rosalie. She could pass for 40. What a smushed face and total bottle blonde. Where the height and hot? Where is the 'Ms. Hottest Girl in World' look? Anyways, I feel as though they used a month supply of foundation in every shot. Robert Pattinson should gain weight and muscle and Nikki Read should loose it. I people will say I’m being shallow about size, but look at the author’s description. And for the look in the mirror comment. Size double zero.

I know that there were many actors that were recomended for the role of Edward and many of them were pretty hot. I just don't think that Robert Pattinson is the right choice for this movie. He seems more of an average character or boy next door type.

God I am so damn excited, I found twilight on amazon last week and brought just because I wanted something new to read, man was I gobsmacked, I have read it twice already and it hasn't even been seven days, I've already ordered new moon, the sequal as I cant wait to read it and I have now just found out about the film and it actually had me shivering with excitement, I think the release date in the usa is 12.12.08 but I need to find out about the Uk because I am deperate to see how it has been portrayed, robert patterson as edward is a a very nice touch, I think this will be the blockbuster hit of the year. I am a fan of anything to do with the otherworld and I have even read all the harry potters but if they do the certificate right on this, this movie will wipe the floor with the harry potter films as they are more child based. I have not been to the cinema in about 6years but I tell you, Twilight will be an excellent exception to the cause!!!!!!!

I don't know if anyone has already stated this... but there is no way they are going to find a cast for this film that does the description of the characters in the books justice. Specifically the vampire ones. Just as many of you have said. They are supposed to look god-like. Almost too beautiful to look at by mere mortals. Does anyone really know anyone like that? I mean... Every version of Helen of Troy that they've had in the movies has been a disappointment to me. She's supposed to have a face so beautiful that it launched a thousand ships.
Another point is that everyone has their own imaginations and they aren't going to all match. So don't be looking for exactly the way you saw things to show up in the movie. It isn't going to happen unless you are involved in the process of the movie. If you think you can choose a better cast... go for it and make another version of the film.
Wow.i feel so late just finding out a couple weeks ago about Twilight the movie coming out. I apsolutly LOVE these books and i hope the movie isnt different! i remember reading the book Blood and Chocolate and then the movie came out and it was nothing like the book!...But i have high hopes and the cast looks great! You have no idea how excited I am for this movie to come out! I have read the books over and over countless times and i have already preordered Breaking Dawn. I started reading the books for a common reason: because almost every girl in my school was reading it. As soon as I got my hands on a copy, I was hooked. I finished the series quickly and recommended it to anyone who would sit through my rants and lectures about Stephenie meyer's new books. Now, I have channeled my obsession with the books to an obsession with the upcoming movie. I post comments on every site that doesn't require a registration and dig up as much info as I can. I definitely can't wait until December to see this movie! It's only June for god's sake! ahh! However will I live through the next six months????

Like some of you at first I was kind of dissapointed about Robert Pattinson playing Edward because I didn't find him quite gorgeous as Edward's supposed to be, but since I saw his smile OMG!!! *scream* He just dazzled me like the real Edward, lol. The only thing that keeps me with faith about this movie and its awesomeness is the teaser trailer!!! I've watched a thousand times. books are there to test our imagination and get us to belive in people and thing that we would not ordinarily take to, that is the magic of reading, in my imagination i can see edward and bella clearley along with alice and esme and carlisle and the rest but as my imagination is diffrent and unique (as with evreyones inagination) my picture of thes characters will not be the same as other peoples and in sure you will agree most people will have a slightly diffrent image in there minds.
edward is in my imagination perfect and bella is also perfect but for a diffrent reason,
the film of a book is never going to appeal to everyones images and it is never going to have the same way of convaying the story as a book dose to the inagination of the individual.
but with that said i expect it to be a good film in its way but for me books will alway win over the film.
good look the the actors in the film, they are going to have a hard job living up to the expectations of the twilight fans.

i cant wait 4 the movie to come out! but im wondering if it can be as good as the book. i dont know if the way Srephenie Meyer wrote the book could ever be portrayed as a film.
After this twighlight movie are they going to leave us hanging or is she going to make more movies that go with the other books? you know like New moon an stuff??? just wondering! but i am so EXCITED for this movie to come out!!!! i will wait in line all day just to watch it!!!!

I only read the book recently and i cant put it down, even though ive read it already :):)
I think the guy who plays Edward in the film is almost perfect :)
as long as they dont change the story too much i dont think i care who plays who.
He isnt actually that bad looking.

i have read the book and it is awesome!!!
i never used to read at all but my friend recommended the twilight books, and i loved them im really exited about the film it will be wicked i hope it doesnt ruin the books though, all the cast have a lot to live up to and i think they will do an exellent job. ive read the books about 6 times and still dont get bored of them, stephanie myers is an extremely tallented whriter and through reading her books it has enspired me to read other books. i wernt so sure about robbert pattinson playing EDWARD(who i love by the way) but i think he will do a good job.
I absolutly love the twilight book and i hope that the film will be just as good i can't wit for it to be reliesed in the uk i am sure that the actors/actresses will do a fantastic job i can't contain my excitment for this movie

There are not words to dicribe the ammount of excitement I am feeling right now! I can not wait for this movie; Twilight is my favorite book!!!!
And about Ms. Stewart... I think she will make a remarkable Bella. I can't wait to discover who Edward will be!!! (my vote is for Colton Hayens ^_^)
