Who won America’s Got Talent 2019? The answer comes on Wednesday night during the live AGT results show and the $1 million prize is on the line.

This article served as a live report for the season finale on the evening of September 18.

The voting has closed. Someone at NBC and likely some of the producers for the show already know who has won the summer season. Fans of the show and the top 10 acts are going to have to wait a bit longer to learn that information.

Heading into the performances on Tuesday night, singer Kodi Lee was considered the favorite. The oddsmakers stated that he had the best shot to win and the voting results from prior episodes seemed to back that up.

Several contestants put forward spectacular performances to try to put themselves in the running. One of those acts was opera singer Emanne Beasha. A video of her singing La Mamma Morta last night is shared below.

The party has been planned and it’s going to be a two-hour episode to close out the summer season. Quite a few guest performances are going to take place and judge Julianne Hough is even going to take the stage with a new song.

Fans are going to have to wait a while to find out the results, as producers are going to keep the winner under wraps until the final moments of the Wednesday night episode. The post from Twitter below showcases who will be on stage with the top 10 acts.

AGT live recap – Season finale begins on NBC

Season 14, Episode 23 has begun. It’s nearly time to find out who is taking home the $1 million prize.

By the end of the two hours, we will know the name of the 2019 AGT winner. It’s going to take a while to get there, though, with a lot of performances combining stars with current top 10 acts.

To start up those duos, the Detroit Youth Choir teamed up with Macklemore to perform “Can’t Hold Us” on the AGT stage. Kygo and Ndlovu Youth Choir also performed “Higher Love” together, letting both choirs take the opening spotlight.

Tyler Butler-Figueroa was joined on stage by Brian King Joseph and the violinists thrilled the crowd. That continued until Light Balance Kids began performing. Soon, Paula Abdul was on stage as well. She used to judge American Idol with Simon Cowell.

Concert pianist Lang Lang was up next to present the music for young opera singer Emanne Beasha. She was brilliant again, but it was accentuated by some great piano playing.

For the segments featuring comedian Ryan Niemiller, they didn’t have him doing a set. Instead, he got to wrestle with Chris Jericho (one of his personal heroes).

Voices of Service then took the stage with Billy Ray Cyrus.

AGT season finale recap continues

A fun segment showed how much enjoyment that Terry Crews enjoys being the host of the show. He has done a great job since taking over as the host of America’s Got Talent.

Back to the current top 10 performing with celebrities, Benecio Bryant got a chance to take the stage with Ozuna. Then, it was time for judge Julianne Hough to perform her new song while V.Unbeatable danced on stage with her.

Continuing the performances, Cher performed an Abba song. She has been advertised for a while, and the crowd loved it when she was up on the stage.

Kodi Lee then got his chance, performing “You Are the Reason” with Leona Lewis.

America’s Got Talent voting results

After all the top 10 acts got to spend some time on the stage enjoying their moments in the spotlight, it was time to start revealing some of the final America’s Got Talent voting results of the season.

The top five acts from the summer 2019 season are Voices of Service, Ryan Niemiller, V.Unbeatable, Kodi Lee, and Detroit Youth Choir.

This meant that Benicio Bryant, Emanne Beasha, Ndlovu Youth Choir, Light Balance Kids, and Tyler Butler-Figueroa had been eliminated from the competition.
