The celebrity who went home on Dancing with the Stars tonight finished in sixth place this season. When the episode began on Monday night, there were just six couples left. Now there are five.
The new episode of DWTS was called Boys Band & Girl Group Night, and, you guessed it, the episode revolved around boy bands and girl groups. That added an extra element of fun to the proceedings.
Each of the final six couples had to perform two dances this time. The first round had them performing to girl group songs and the second round brought in the boy band songs.
Last week, it was actress Kate Flannery and professional partner Pasha Pashkov who ended up going home. The results were a bit surprising, as they weren’t the lowest-scoring couple of the night.
Who went home on Dancing with the Stars tonight?
The bottom two couples on the night were Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko, as well as Sean Spicer and Jenna Johnson. They got there by the judges combining the audience vote with the scores from the panel on the night.
The judge’s panel voted to save Lauren and Gleb, meaning that the couple that just went home on Dancing with the Sars was Sean Spicer and Jenna Johnson. That’s the end of the fans who were tuning in just to vote for the worst dancer of the season.
Next week on DWTS, the semi-finals begin for Season 28. It is already Episode 10 for the new season, showing how close the judges and audience at home is to naming a victor.
