David Ajala plays Manchester Black, the newest villain on Season Four of Supergirl and he will be introduced tonight in the episode Ahimsa.

It’s uncertain how big of a role he will have on Supergirl, since there are plenty of new characters that have joined the show recently.

Ajala joins Rhona Mitra as Mercy Graves and a guest role played by Xander Berkeley. He isn’t the first villain to join this season and fans are already curious to know how long he will stay on the show as a regular. Only time will tell, but here’s what you need to know about the man who may pose a big threat on this season of Supergirl.

Playing the antihero of the DC Comics isn’t all David Ajala is currently working on. He has wrapped a short film called Without Disguise and he has filmed the TV series, Nightflyers, where he plays Roy Eris. He is also in pre-production on the movie, Sacrilege, where he plays a character called The Trickster.

However, in the past, Ajala has worked on Jupiter Ascending from 2015, Fast & Furious 6 from 2013 where he played Ivory, and even The Dark Knight from 2008, where he played a bounty hunter. He also starred on Falling Water, a television series that ran from 2016 to 2018. He’s also filmed Black Box, Law & Order: UK, and Trexx and Flipside – just to name a few.

Ajala has also performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon in October 2008.

Little is known about David Ajala’s personal life. He doesn’t have a website with a biography and his social media is mostly focussed on other people’s achievements and what is going on in the news. It appears that he wants to keep his private life away from the public.

Supergirl airs Sundays at 8/7c on CW.
