A Million Little Things is ABC’s new hit series about a group of friends from Boston. The ensemble cast has a few big names but there’s one standout character that viewers want to know more about and that is Delilah, played by Stephanie Szostak.

Szostak has an impressive acting resume. Before playing Delilah Dixon, the widow of Jon – the man who commits suicide in the first episode of the brand new show, she actually had plenty of big screen movie experience.

Szostak is a French-American actress, who didn’t grow up dreaming about becoming a big star. She actually left France behind to study business and play varsity golf at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

She worked at Chanel in New York in the marketing department and also got in front of the camera while working as a model for a brochure. Realizing that it was fun work, she started modeling more at 26 years old.

Szostak joined acting classes in New York and realized how much she loved it. It wasn’t long after that where she landed her role in the Meryl Streep movie, The Devil Wears Prada. You can see her in the clip below as Jacqueline Follet.

However, the resume has only grown since then, appearing in a long list of shows. These include Younger, R.I.P.D., Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce, Bull, Satisfaction, Nip/Tuck, Suits, Hit By Lightning, Iron Man 2, Gimme Shelter, and Dinner For Schmucks to name a few.

Stephanie Szostak has also made French movies. She’s worked on films, such as Une aventure New Yorkaise. You can also spot her in HBO’s The Sopranos and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Stephanie has shared quite a bit about her relationship with her husband via a Medium post where she revealed that they met in college and fell in love. She’s married to Britt Szostack, a partner at Lenox Advisors in NYC.  According to his LinkedIn profile, Britt made partner back in March and before that, he was the managing director for the same company for nearly 13 years.

Anyone who has seen Szostak play the role of Julie in Dinner For Schmucks can see the parallel between her role in the comedy and her real-life relationship.

While her children don’t appear on her social media accounts often, she did share a throwback photo of her oldest son when he was little.

Stephanie Szostak did write about parenting and her children back in 2015, giving some insight into her experience as a working actor and parent.

If you’re wondering how to pronounce Stephanie Szostak’s last name, we can help with that too. Her married name is Polish and sounds like “show-stack.”

A Million Little Things airs on Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
