Hallmark Movies and Mysteries will air three original movies in August, including a follow-up to Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Til Death Do Us Part, which premiered in June.

Each film is part of a different cozy mystery series produced by the network.

The first of the three, Mystery 101: Deadly History, will air on August 1 at 9/8c. Starring Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha, the film is part of the Mystery 101 series.

The series follows English professor Amy Winslow and detective Travis Burke as they solve crime in the small town of Garrison, Washington.

In Deadly History, Amy is called to New York to help investigate when her uncle disappears. She finds out he was researching their family’s history and discovered a murder.

It’s the seventh in the Mystery 101 series, which debuted in January 2019. The series is based on characters created by writers Lee Goldberg and Robin Ternheim.

Hannah Swensen is back

Alison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison will then return as baker Hannah Swensen and detective Mike Kingston in Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, which will air August 8 at 9/8c.

Fans have waited five years for a return of the beloved baker-turned-sleuth Swensen. In May, Sweeney announced in an Instagram post that a new film in the Murder, She Baked series was in the works. In June, she shared photos from the film set in Vancouver with costars Cameron Mathison and Barbara Niven.

She wrote, “Thank you to all the fans who have kept their enthusiasm for Hannah and her crime solving ways. I’m so thrilled to announce that Hannah Swensen is BACK!!”

The Murder, She Baked series is based on the cozy mystery books by best-selling author Joanne Fluke.

Honeymoon, Honeymurder

Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Honeymoon, Honeymurder will air on August 22 at 9/8c. It’s the follow-up to Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Til Death Do Us Part, which debuted in June.
