Days of our Lives spoilers for upcoming episodes of the NBC daytime drama tease romance, arguments, and a villain’s return to shock Salem.

Based on the preview video, it is a week of romance, desperation, stunning blowouts, and a threat that will impact many lives. Oh yes, the drama is at an all-time high on the soap opera, with a little romance thrown in to switch things up.

The proposal

Xander (Paul Telfer) takes the next step in his romance with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). He plans the perfect night for Sarah, who deserves some time away from the hospital and baby Mickey’s illness.

Sarah is caught off guard when Xander asks her to marry him. What she doesn’t know is that he is desperate to cement his relationship before the baby switch blows up in his face. Yes, Xander is in love with Sarah, but his marriage proposal is also about his ulterior motive.

Is she ready to take the plunge, or is it all too much too soon?

A good old cat-fight

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) starts a fight with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), and it gets physical. The two enemies get into a good old-fashioned cat-fight. Kristen is clueless that the fight is all part of Nicole’s plans to expose the baby switch.

There is no love lost between Nicole and Kristen, so it is not hard for Brady (Eric Martsolf) to believe Nicole attacked Kristen. She is going to get flak for starting a cat-fight with Kristen, but it is going be entertaining for viewers. Plus, it is the only way Nicole can prove Mickey is Brady and Kristen’s daughter.

Orpheus rises again

Orpheus (George DelHoyo) is back. The entire town of Salem is going to be stunned to learn the evil villain is alive again.

Now that it has been revealed that Orpheus is connected to Evan (Brock Kelly), it is going to be bad news for Rafe (Galen Gering). If it does turn out Evan is Orpheus’ son, Rafe is in for the fight of his life.

The search for little David is on. However, the Salem PD has no idea who they are dealing with until Rafe gets a tip. Even then, it takes some convincing for the detective to believe Orpheus is alive and helping out Evan. Whatever Orpheus has planned, it is not going to be good for Salem.

Orpheus isn’t the only evil and sinister villain causing problems. Stefano (Stephen Nichols) still has Marlena (Deidre Hall). He is desperate to reach her after Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) procedure. John (Drake Hogestyn) is determined to find Marlena and kill Stefano in the process.

So much juicy entertainment is going on in Salem, and viewers will want to tune daily to see how it all goes down.

Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
