The tense relationship between Veronica (Camila Mendes) and her father, Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) is about to go from bad to worse.
Thanks to the arrival of Hermosa (Mishel Prada), the sister Veronica never knew she had, the Lodge family will continue to crumble. Just when Veronica thought she had finally got the upper hand on her corrupt father, he blindsided his “Mi Hija” again.
There is very little known about Hermosa at this time. Mark told fans at New York Comic Con that Hiram’s oldest daughter is from a previous relationship. Unlike Veronica though, Hermosa is fiercely loyal to her father, which will no doubt anger, Veronica.
Hiram and Hermosa have an unbreakable bond. Their relationship is completely opposite of the one he has with his youngest daughter.
According to TV Guide, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Hermosa has been living in Miami working as a private investigator and a night-club owner.
“Shei is just as scheming as Hiram. She’s just like daddy but a woman so more dangerous,” said the Riverdale boss.
The impact of no longer being an only child, as well as the bond Hermosa and Hiram have will deeply impact Veronica. It is going to be quite a ride for the Lodge family in Season 4.

So, who is the talented actress taking on the role of Hermosa and going toe to toe with Veronica?
Mishel Prada has had a handful of acting roles that are earning her acclaim. She is best known for playing Emma Hernandez on the Starz drama Vida.
The showrunner on Vida, Tanya Saracho is a good friend with Riverdale head honcho, Aguirre-Sacasa. Their connection led to Mishel being cast as Hermosa.
The 29-yer-old hails from Miami. She has been acting since she was a child, getting her start in church and school productions. At age 23, Mishel began acting professionally landing roles in Fear the Walking Dead: Passage as well as Stranger Things.
Along with her incredible acting talent, Mishel is also a founding member of a female art collective called Damarosa. It takes a look at the artistic work of influential women in literature.
There is a new Lodge in Riverdale. Hermosa is going to make waves for her younger sister, Veronica.
Hiram will no doubt find a way to pit his two girls against each other. Wonder what Hermione is going to say about her stepdaughter coming to town?
