Elizabeth Lyn Vargas is pushing on despite her recent exit from the Real Housewives of Orange County and she’s keeping busy with a new project. The news hit the blogs mere hours ago about the network’s decision to not renew the contract of several Orange County Housewives to include controversial castmates Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Elizabeth.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth didn’t have much of a chance to show fans what she had to offer since her first season on the show was filmed during the pandemic. That meant she didn’t get a chance to bond with her castmates due to the restrictions.
Furthermore, viewers didn’t really learn much about the newbie as her castmates revealed lots of discrepancies with some of the things she shared about her life.
Given the fact that people felt Season 15 was the worst season in the show’s history and it’s fair the admit that Elizabeth had too many things working against her. However, the newly fired Housewife is taking it all in stride.
Elizabeth Lyn Vargas invokes Forrest Gump
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is trying to keep her spirits up and she’s taking a cue from the classic Forrest Gump movie.
In her latest Instagram post, Elizabeth shared a video and had a message for her followers as well, “Life is like a box of chocolates ladies and gentlemen. You never know what you’re going to get.”
“Stay positive when life throws you curve balls because you never know why a particular situation is happening. It’s probably happening for a reason & you will see it in the end,” She continued. “Keep your eyes & heart wide open. You never know where your life journey will lead you for the best. ‘With every transition comes greater opportunity’ Thank everybody for this opportunity?? In the end it will all be OK and if it’s not OK it’s not the end.”
Elizabeth Lyn Vargas teases new project
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum also teased her future plans and shared that we might very well be seeing more of her as she teased a new project.
“I’m hanging out with my dog and working on Vargas Vodka,” shared Elizabeth in her video. “So I’m doing okay. I mean obviously, for a year I was planning on filming but now that it’s not happening it’s fine.”
She also offered a word of encouragement after throwing out the “Life is like a box of chocolates” analogy once again. “You never know what you’re gonna get, you never know what’s gonna happen but whatever does happen you have to think positive and always say to yourself this is happening for a reason.”
“I can’t wait for the next phase in my life,” added Elizabeth. “So I’m not off the big screen yet FYI so look forward to seeing something very exciting coming next year and then, you know, life’s gonna go on.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County is currently on hiatus on Bravo.
