Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles returns tonight and Tracy Tutor Maltas is returning to the show as a full-time cast member.
During the previous season, which was her first season, fans were introduced to her husband Jason Maltas. However, after the show wrapped on Bravo, Tracy decided to file for divorce after 13 years of marriage.
Even though fans didn’t notice any major marital troubles on the show, Jason did allude to the fact that Tracy Tutor Maltas struggled to balance work life with her family. In one scene from last year, she talks about their children, sharing that her youngest daughter is in the second grade.
However, Jason corrects her, saying that their youngest daughter is indeed in the third grade. This is enough for her to break down in tears over not staying in touch with her family life at home.
Tracy hasn’t dished any details about why she divorced her husband. It’s possible that she will provide more details on tonight’s premiere of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Then again, she may have been asked not to talk about it because of her contract with Bravo.
The only thing that she has confirmed is that she and Jason are committed to co-parenting their two children, Juliet, 11, and Scarlett, 8.
It was Tracy Tutor Maltas who filed for divorce from Jason. She cited “irreconcilable differences” at the time. Back in February 2018, Daily Mail reported that it appears that a prenup was in place, so they weren’t going to go after one another financially in terms of spousal support.
Back in December 2018, Tracy Tutor Maltas made headlines as she had settled her divorce from Jason. The prenup made the divorce simple, as they don’t have to talk about spousal or child support. According to Page Six, Tracy is responsible for paying for the nannies and any equestrian-related expenses for the daughters. But the children will not be filming the Bravo show.
In return, Tracy got to keep their $18-million home and two vehicles. As for Tracy Tutor Maltas’ name, she’s planning on dropping the Malta surname.
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles premieres tonight, Thursday, January 3 at 9/8c on Bravo.
