This week on The Last Alaskans, the Seldens have ambitious plans for a large cabin and the need for a proper home has just become all the more urgent!
Tyler and Ashley Selden are one of the youngest couples living in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and it has been a very steep learning curve for them.
But that has not stopped them taking the plunge and now they are planning an ambitious cabin, big enough for a family.
Their own family members have turned up to help them with the task and that is just as well since Ashley has some big news…she’s pregnant!
In a sweet moment in the clip below, she talks about how the cabin is a big project and that they still have a lot of things to do.
Ashley says with a huge grin: “We’re hunting, we’re fishing and…what else. We’re expecting our first child. Surprise! I’m pregnant!”
Let’s hope she and Tyler get all the help they need to complete the cabin in time.
