Love After Lockup couple Marcelino and Brittany have garnered a lot of attention. While they weren’t heavily featured in the trailer, their wedding made it on. Of course, that has prompted plenty of sleuthing among viewers to find out what the couple is up to now.
Of all of the couples on the current season of Love After Lockup, Marcelino and Brittany appear to be the most stable.
While their first spat was caught on camera within a few days of her release, it was clear that he was really serious about spending his life with her. Marcelino’s efforts in getting things ready for Brittany’s homecoming definitely showed his feelings about her.
Did Marcelino and Brittany get married?
In the Love After Lockup trailer, it appears that there is an incredibly formal wedding happening with Marcelino as the groom and Brittany as the bride. The season isn’t quite there yet, so whether they are married remains to be seen.
Brittany has several photos of the two together on Instagram, sharing many of them recently. In fact, some of the photos include her son in them as well.
Brittany mentioned her little boy several times now and explained that Marcelino was supposed to meet him before she was released, though that didn’t pan out. It looks like things have changed, and the three of them are quite happy spending time together.
Is there a baby on the way?
There have been rumblings on social media about a possible pregnancy for Brittany and Marcelino. Many of her Instagram photos are positioned just right so that if there was a baby bump, it wouldn’t be incredibly noticeable. Angles are everything when you may be concealing a pregnancy.
Target has a baby registry that is set up for Brittany and Marcelino Santiago, with a due date of December 31, 2018.
While it is unclear if that is an actual due date or just a random date the couple picked to throw off internet sleuths, that is what is listed. It is also worth noting that the registry is not gender neutral and it appears the couple is expecting a little girl.
It looks like Brittany and Marcelino were able to make something work for them, despite the odds stacked against them. As their life plays out on television, they get to watch their love story unfold as they prepare for the future.
