Tonight’s episode of Ghost Hunters sees the TAPS team head to Fort Taber-Fort Rodman in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
The site hosts all manner of reenactments from the American Revolution, Civil War through to World War II and a recent living history event is reported to have stirred up some of a supernatural nature.
Work started on Fort Rodman about 1857 though it was never actually completed as first imagined. Up until the turn of the 20th century it was known as Fort at Clark’s Point.
Nearby are the ruins of Fort Taber, which was built as a small temporary defense until the much larger fortification was completed.
However, the team are interested in the more modern Battery Milliken, a concrete coastal battery within Fort Rodman that held 12 inch guns during WWII.
There have been sightings of a strange man crouching down and walking around and an apparition walking down the hall.
