Things are heating up in North Carolina thanks to new comments made by David Eason on his Facebook account. It’s been three weeks since Jenelle Evans announced she had filed for divorce and had left David, but he’s still sharing his thoughts on his social media accounts.
This week, Eason dropped quite the bombshell, revealing that he was actually much happier after the split from Jenelle and that his daughter, Maryssa, was happier as well. He explained that he wasn’t taking the divorce announcement as hard as everyone thought.
David went on to clarify his feelings in the comments section, replying to his followers.
“If it didn’t bother you any at all, you wouldn’t be human. Yall had a relationship and a family. It seemed toxic, but I wasn’t there so I can’t say here nor there. But all that matters is that the kids are happy and safe,” one person wrote to David, who had a shocking reply.
“It bothered me Amber but I’m not heartbroken. I’ve realized I wasn’t in love and there are much better people out there for me.”
Ouch.
David revealed that he isn’t heartbroken because he wasn’t in love with Jenelle. He’s also revealing that he thinks there are better people out there for him, essentially sharing that he’s hopeful to find a partner in the future.
And some of his followers even had a suggestion for him regarding his own family.
“Now maybe you can have a relationship with your family again your mom and sister and get your life together. This relationship was toxic from the beginning I’m happy your happy, as I’m sure [Jenelle], is as well,” another person wrote to David. He ended up writing, “I don’t talk to some of my family because of their own actions not mine or anyone else’s.”
Even though David appears to be happy about his split with Jenelle, he isn’t blaming her for his family’s drama. As he explained, his family members have made decisions in their lives that made him cut them off. Despite not being happy with Jenelle right now, he isn’t passing the blame.
As Monsters & Critics has previously reported, Jenelle and David have yet to address the divorce itself in terms of why they decided to split. Jenelle did file a restraining order, which was granted, where she argued that she was scared for her life. David has yet to address her allegations publicly.
