Amy Schumer is pregnant — but when will her due date be?

The star announced the news that she is expecting yesterday using a picture of her and her husband’s faces superimposed on the bodies of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The big reveal was also tangled in an Instagram Live post that encouraged people to vote for the upcoming midterm elections happening November 6.

It saw her friend, journalist Jessica Yellin, talk about the importance of voting before sharing some of Schumer’s candidate recommendations for voters. She then directed followers to read to the bottom of a list where Schumer wrote, “I’m pregnant.”

Amy, who married Chris Fischer earlier this year, hasn’t yet provided any official details about her due date. However, most pregnancies are measured in weeks with a targeted due date at 40 weeks, so it is possible to narrow down when she is likely to be expecting.

If she is currently 12 weeks pregnant — the length of time that passes before most people publicly announce they are expecting — her due date (if she had her ultrasound on the 22nd of October, the day of the announcement) would be May 5th, 2019.

However, if she had her scan last week and chose to wait a week to announce her pregnancy, she’d be due around April 28th. It’s also possible she waited until she was four months along, as some people do, which would mean her due date would be closer to March 3rd.

Amy Schumer and her chef and author husband hadn’t shared any pictures of baby bumps on social media at the time of writing.

She was previously seen out earlier this month when she was part of the demonstration against the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. At the time, no baby bump was visible.

In case you know nothing about Amy’s husband, he actually runs the family’s Beetlebung Farm in Martha’s Vineyard, telling Esquire that he ended up working there after he came back from New York City with no money.

However, Chris later made a success of himself as he won the 2016 James Beard Award for American Cooking for his book The Beetlebung Farm Cookbook.

Chris and Amy Schumer met through his sister, who was working as Schumer’s personal assistant.
