Daniel Negreanu chose to ring in 2019 by going all in and proposing to his girlfriend, Amanda Leatherman, who happily called his bluff and said yes.
Negreanu, a Canadian native and six-time World Series of Poker champion, and Leatherman, a former Big Game host and current host of Facebook Watch’s Friday Night Poker, have been dating only a few months.
They haven’t been together long but have already been coined the “poker power couple” in the poker world and are ready to take the trip down the aisle.
She said yes.

The couple actually dated several years ago but reconnected after Negreanu broke up with longtime love Marissa Rachelle Rodney over the summer, much to the delight of poker fans everywhere.

Negreanu’s love life has been well discussed and analyzed over the years, almost as much as his poker strategies.
His previous high-profile relationships include a previous marriage to Lori Lynn Weber, which ended in divorce in 2007 after just two years. He also dated professional poker player Evelyn Ng and Hungarian model Krisztina Polgar, and even starred on an episode of Bravo TV’s The Millionaire Matchmaker in 2013 in an attempt to find love. You can check out his episode below:
Negreanu and Leatherman first met back in 2010. Both were in relationships at the time, but eventually started dating after they both became single.
The relationship was short-lived, however, and Leatherman actually left the poker scene and Las Vegas for a while, wanting a break from the constant partying. She came back several years later, and then, eventually, reunited with Negreanu.
We’re betting they live happily ever after!
