Tonight on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks – the sea reminds everyone who’s boss and leaves the captains with a tricky decision.
With only just over a week of fishing left, everyone is keen to get as much fishing done as they can.
However, the waves breaking over the bar are pretty high and you need speed and preferably a high bow to get over them safely. The speed means you can get through between the breaks and a high bow means if you do get caught out then you’re likely to be OK.
Hard Merchandise are forced to make a tough decision, is it worth the risk?
Captain Griff on Reels of Fortune just makes it through and he advises Merchandise not to try it, telling them there are waves big enough to take your cabin clean off.
