Charmed is back with a brand new episode and with that comes a guest star in the shape of Virginia Williams.

Williams will make her first appearance on the CW show tonight as Charity, one of The Elders who watches over the whitelighter and the witches.

Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Maggie,(Sarah Jeffery) and Mel (Melonie Diaz)managed to overpower the Harbinger of Hell last week and now, the demon is in their attic as they await the arrival of The Elders. Virginia Williams appears as Charity and while her advice is clear, the sisters aren’t on the same page. In fact, Mel doesn’t want to hear it and she is going to convince Macy and Maggie to ignore the instructions.

Viewers may recognize Virginia Williams from her time in the soap world. Back in 1995, she appeared on One Life to Live as Lorna. It only lasted a year, but it got her foot in the door. She played Brandy Taylor on the now-defunct CBS soap As the World Turns from 2001-2002. Getting her feet wet in the soap world helped Williams in the acting industry.

Aside from daytime, Virginia Williams has appeared on several primetime shows including In Plain Sight, Two and a Half Men, and Veronica Mars. You may have also caught her on the Netflix series, Fuller House. Williams played C.J., the love interest of D.J.’s (Candace Cameron Bure) former flame, Steve (Scott Weinger).

It looks like Charity will be featured plenty in tonight’s Charmed episode. While it is unclear if Virginia Williams will return at some point later in the season, it certainly is possible. The Elders play an important role in the guidance of the whitelighter and his charges.

Charmed airs Sunday night at 9/8c on the CW network.
