Troy James terrifies the audience and judges on America’s Got Talent this week — with his spider-like contortionist routine.

The judges were not expecting to see what the human resources employee had prepared for them, and neither were those watching live.

During the last episode of the show, a fourth contestant received the golden buzzer. Could Troy James join that group?

Going only off of the reactions of the judges and the audience, it might seem like Troy James isn’t going to make it to the next round of the show, but viewers were going to have to tune in on Tuesday night to find out for sure.

Troy James bio

So who is Troy James? As well as being a human resources employee, he has been on a number of television shows and has an IMDb page listing his credits. He had roles in the 2016 movie The Void and television shows like FX’s The Strain, SyFy’s Channel Zero, and Freeform’s Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments. In all of those roles, his extreme flexibility has been on full display.

Troy James meets Steve Harvey

Recently, James also performed for Steve Harvey on Showtime At The Apollo. A video below, from March, shows how he was received by the host and that audience. As he began taking his pants off, nobody there knew what to expect. When he was done, nobody knew what they had just seen.

Is his act one that is worth the $1million prize? Probably not, but it will provide an interesting segment during the latest audition episode of AGT.

Troy’s story is also a very interesting one. He has previously spoken out about the bullying he experienced when other kids learned about his flexibility. This led him to hide his ability.

Now, he is making a career out of it, with a lot of success in the entertainment industry and with online videos. Soon, Troy James could become a household name if the judges want to see more from him during AGT Season 13.

America’s Got Talent airs at 8/7c Tuesday nights on NBC.
