Victoria Gotti: My Father’s Daughter is headed to Lifetime next month. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the movie from soap fans as Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos, General Hospital) is playing the role of John Gotti.

Up until today, not a lot was known about the movie. Victoria Gotti: My Father’s Daughter had been publicized on social media, but only photos were shown. Now, the trailer has been released and viewers are ready to see what the movie has in store.

The actors and roles

Victoria Gotti will be narrating the movie and will be doing confessional-like commentary throughout. The story focuses on her relationship with her father, showing viewers everything from her perspective.

Maurice Benard will be playing John Gotti, a role that some would say he was born to play. Chelsea Frei stars as Victoria Gotti and is a relatively unfamiliar name.

The trailer

The trailer for Victoria Gotti: My Father’s Daughter shows the dynamic viewers can expect and includes a confessional from Victoria Gotti as well.

Viewers will see what happens when John doesn’t approve of his daughter’s love interest and will get an inside look at what happened in the Gotti home.

There are a lot of questions viewers have about the Gotti life, especially when it comes to the father and daughter relationship between Victoria and John.

Of course, she maintains that she knew less than the media did and grew up sheltered regarding the Gambino crime family, but is that really the truth?

Victoria Gotti: My Father’s Daughter premieres February 9, 2019, on Lifetime at 8/7c.
