Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter Briana discusses her lupus diagnosis on this week’s Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion.
Briana’s battle with the disease — which can be potentially life-threatening — on the final episode of the season.
Her health problems have been well documented on the show, but doctors only recently realised what was wrong with her.
An episode in July saw her being taken away in an ambulance after she began struggling to breathe — and it later emerged the problems were caused by enlarged lymph nodes in her chest which were restricting her lungs.
On this week’s RHOC she tells the ladies in a chat with Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen: “I had a major surgery on my neck a couple of months ago and they figured out that I have lupus.”
She also spills the beans on mum Vicki’s relationship with the truth.
Also on Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Kelly gets it in the neck from all sides over her behavior at the sushi party earlier in the season.
And it looks like Heather Dubrow may have come close to quitting the show over the confrontation. Some shocking details about Kelly’s past are also revealed.
Meanwhile, Shannon Beador’s relationship with husband David also takes center stage as she discusses their renewal of vows.
She also opens up about her difficult relationship with her mother-in-law.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.
