This week’s Shark Tank features Validated — an app that gets you free parking and transport with popular companies like Uber and Lyft.

But how does it work, and how do you get it?

Validated basically works by giving you credits when you spend money in stores. You can then use these credits to pay for parking and mass transit (in certain cities) and things like Uber, Lyft and ReachNow — BMW’s premium car sharing service.

Other supported services that you can use your credits for are Luxe, Paybyphone and Biketown.

To earn credits you just need to reach a store’s spending threshold. Different stores have different thresholds.

First, you look through shops and restaurants on the app to see which ones are taking part in the Validated scheme.

Spend money on goods or on a meal, then scan your receipt into the app to earn credits.

Once you have credits you can then redeem them on the various transport or parking schemes available.

You can find out more about the app on their website, and download it on either the App Store or Google Play.

Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9/8c on ABC.
