The Walking Dead spoilers hint at what is going to take place during the November 4 episode of the show. In an AMC preview for Season 9 Episode 5 (video below), Maggie is shown facing off with Michonne. At issue, is whether Michonne will allow Maggie to get into the cell where Negan has been restrained.

While the primary focus of the next episode will be the fate of Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln), actress Lauren Cohan will take a stage of her own. Maggie is out for revenge.

What’s coming up on The Walking Dead?

At the end of the October 21 episode, after Maggie and Daryl allowed the Oceanside women to murder Arat, Maggie noted that it was time to visit Negan. The leader of the Saviors has been jailed since his side lost a war at the end of Season 8. Maggie wants him dead because he was the one who killed her husband, Glenn.

The video definitely shows that there is drama coming between two of the leading female cast members. Michonne and Maggie have always been on the same side, but now Michonne stands between Maggie and her revenge against Negan. Will Michonne stop Maggie? Will Maggie kill Michonne before moving on to Negan?

Rick Grimes’ last episode

There is going to be a lot of promotion about Rick Grimes’ last episode, but hopefully, it doesn’t overshadow some really important scenes between other characters. While Andrew Lincoln is leaving the show, so is Lauren Cohan, possibly bringing an end to the character of Maggie Greene.

This TWD sneak peek into the showdown between Michonne and Maggie might be intriguing enough on its own. If Negan somehow plays into it, it could be another memorable moment from Season 9.

While more The Walking Dead spoilers will come out as the episode approaches, it’s exciting to think about the possibilities of what could take place during that moment.

The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9/8c on AMC.
