On The Real Housewives of New York City, Sonja shocked the other ladies by revealing she’s been ‘friends with benefits’ with Luann’s fiance Tom for TEN YEARS.
The revelation emerges mid-meal and leaves some of the women nearly spitting out their food in shock. The conversation comes about as they discuss which of the same men Sonja and Luann have been with, including Harry — who luann describes as “old news”.
Then they move on to Tom, and Sonja suddenly blurts out: “Tom’s been friends with benefits for ten years!”
Luann’s face is something to behold as she first hears the news and there’s plenty of wide-eyed looks around the table as the remark sinks in.
Sonja said: “I knew it was a matter of time before it was brought up that I had a history with Tom.”
But Lu thinks Sonjya is playing games and says: “Nothing you can say, any of you, can change my mind about this guy. We have a real relationship and we’re getting married so that’s the real deal. I don’t care who f****d who. I don’t care.”
She said afterwards: “Sonja’s supposed to be my friend. Why would you say that? She didn’t have a long relationship with Tom.”
Also on the same episode of Real Housewives of New York City, Bethany is getting her color back amid her health issues — and a conversation about them leads to much hilarity as it emerges Ramona’s favorite birth control method was the diaphragm.
Anybody else spot that big globe sitting on the table? The others jokingly ask if every time she wanted to get jiggy with it she had to run off and put the diaphragm in while in another room.
But Ramona insists: “I was always prepared, no-one ever had to wait.”
