The two websites selling tickets for tours of Oak Island crashed after going on sale due to huge demand from fans of The Curse of Oak Island.

Tickets for private, semi-private and public tours hosted by Oak Island Tours Inc. and the Friends of Oak Island Society all went on sale but were hit by technical issues.

We previously told how high demand was forecast due to the popularity of The Curse of Oak Island, with tickets set to go on sale in record time.

Both Oak Island Tours Inc, who carry out the private and semi private tours, and Friends of Oak Island Society, who carry out the public tours, apologized for problems with the ticketing website.
