Teyana Taylor lends her experience to help the up-and-coming rappers on The Rap Game

Teyana Taylor takes time out to help young rappers tonight on Lifetime series The Rap Game.

The multi-talented artist, from Harlem, carries out an interview with each of the up-and-coming artists as they learn about how to deal with the press. And she’s impressed with the talent the youngsters have, telling host Jermaine Dupri: “You chose some good kids for this show!”

Teyana knows the lay of the land when it comes to working with the press, and has done so in pretty much every capacity in the entertainment industry — as a recording artist, dancer, choreographer, actress and model.

She also just recently launched her own nail salon in Harlem, and teamed up with Lil Yachty for a new Reebok Classic campaign.

Tonight’s episode of The Rap Game also sees the rappers face a panel of journalists as part of their “press tour” experience — but do they know what their brands are all about, and can they balance being stars while sticking to their roots?

Judging by the episode’s title things don’t go smoothly for all of the kids. What’s it called? The Press Got U Stressed!

The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10/9c on Lifetime.
