Sweet Home Sextuplets took TLC viewers by storm. The story of the Waldrop sextuplets was unique and the way the network presented it had a lot of potential. Season 1 was only a handful of episodes, documenting the pregnancy and subsequent arrival of the babies.

As the season ended, the Waldrop sextuplets were growing and beginning to become more aware of the world around them. Courtney and Eric had been contemplating what their next stage of life would look like and immediately, Sweet Home Sextuplets viewers demanded to see more of the family.

Season 2 is finally confirmed

Yesterday, on the sextuplets’ first birthday, Courtney Waldrop announced that they had been picked up for a second season of Sweet Home Sextuplets. This was exciting news for viewers and fans who have been following the journey of the babies on Instagram. The announcement came with a sweet photo of the babies during their first birthday photo session.

Courtney Waldrop also apologized for not responding to comments about whether or not the show would be returning. They had to wait on the official okay from TLC before they said anything. Sweet Home Sextuplets will be back and that is something to celebrate for the family.

When will Sweet Home Sextuplets return to TLC?

At this point, a premiere date is still unknown for Sweet Home Sextuplets Season 2. They are likely still filming at this point, especially with the milestone of the babies’ first birthday. TLC generally waits between a few months and almost an entire year before a new season of their shows. With all of that taken into account, the only definite is that it will be returning at some point next year.

Sweet Home Sextuplets is expected to return to TLC in 2019.
